I heard someone say aloud, “It is all about fate. What has to happen will happen.” Immediately, I heard someone else remark aloud, “Enough of whatever has had to happen!” I couldn’t help smiling.
Just one question. Why is fate that big a deal anyway? While some people believe in it, others don’t. Aren’t there like a million such things that have polar-opposite beliefs? Yet, some people try their very best to align themselves as well as others to it. Worse still, some others spend all their energy trying to defeat the invisible force they “don’t believe in”.
What I mean to say is that if you don’t believe in it, then don’t even think of it. Then there is nothing to prove anything to anyone about. Yes, there are some things which are not in our control. But that could be true of anything. It does not require us to label everything or fight it.
As Disney’s Princess Merida’s journey regarding fate in the movie Brave summed it up aptly:
Our fate lives within us. You only have to be brave enough to see it.
