If only we could, we would…
How many times have we thought the above and left this sentence and so many dreams associated with it incomplete?
If only the time was right…
If only the place was right…
If only the situation was right…
If only, if only…
So many dreams have been buried under the burden of these words. So many much-meant words have been swallowed whole before they even touched the lips.
“If only” has become the excuse we give to ourselves more than anyone else. If only you really want to be happy, stop using the words – if only. They have destroyed more people than one can imagine.
