We proudly think of ourselves,
Until the biggest joke
Of the universe on us!

Making us do
What we swore we would never,
Making us become
What we dreamt of never.

Bending us
Till we thought we would break,
Pushing us
Till there were no boundaries left.

The only consolation
In this fair – unfair game
Was to see the joke
On anyone and everyone.
