Ever really felt,
Like truly, truly felt
What it is to be free?
Free of responsibility,
Free of tomorrow,
Free of free?
To not think twice
Before you speak or do,
After you speak and do?
To be assured
In what you have,
In what will be?
If never, ever in your life,
If not even once,
Then boy, you haven’t truly lived.
For only when you let go
In the truest sense,
Do you realize the truth.
Only then you know
What is truly worth holding on to,
What makes you truly happy.
So go on, if haven’t already,
Taste the freedom once.
Be happy. Be free.

I always recall what Kris kristofferson said. “Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose. Nothin ain’t worth but it’s free. Feeling good was easy etc etc.”

It will have to be earned over a long period of selfreflection.
