Sometimes, eyes speak
When lips don’t.
Words might be platonic
While eyes convey more.
A passing sighting of
Mischievous sparkle
Might dust speculations
Meaning much more.
Sometimes, eyes flirt
As they want,
Asking the muse
Answers shied from evermore.
