Wonderfully creative way of describing it, Mia!
Recalls what my grandmother used to tell us impatient grandchildren – “Be careful never to wish away time.”
As I matured, and realized life doesn’t supply endless tomorrows, her wisdom grows. Now, rather than merely being anxious for today to be finished, I devote mental energy instead for making sure tomorrow is better than ever.
