How can anything go wrong?
When and where
There is so much love,
How can anything go wrong?
Yet it does,
Like hell breaking loose,
Like the sky crashing down,
Things go wrong.
In spite of
All precautions,
All perseverance,
Things go wrong.
Even if everyone involved
Is a good person at heart,
Is trying their best,
Things go wrong.
But even if they do,
How does it matter?
How is it the end
When things go wrong?
For didn’t we know
In the beginning itself,
In our heart of hearts,
That anything could go wrong?
Yet we took that chance,
To see how it goes,
To feel the journey,
Even if something went wrong.
So eureka!
We discover Murphy’s Law.
We learn that anything that can go wrong,
Will go wrong.
Yet, we rally.
We hope.
We love.
Even if, all wrong.
For how can anything go wrong?
When and where
There is so much love,
How can anything go wrong?
Splendid work!

Exactly! To us writers, who’ll find the best in even the worst! π

Yes indeed! And we need a bit of drama in poetry. Actually itβs an essential part of good writing I would like to think π€
Youβre welcome Mia!

Okay, I hope you find the tiny bits of drama in my poems enough for your witty self… π because frankly, I’m not much for drama. Sometimes, the simple suffices. (Just my opinion) π

Ah to each their own. You can combine simple things with drama and romance and suspense etc etc. Call them ingredients for a good storyβ¦ (Just my opinion) π

As if life isn’t enough dramatic! π π
At least, I know where I’m going with my storylines or poems. And try to let my readers know alongside. Isn’t it nice when once in a blue moon, what you see is what you get? π

i’ve found that when things don’t go right, that’s when everyone is paying attention.

Cookie, thanks for stopping by to share! π
Yes, you’re right. That’s when everyone around seems to make it obvious that they were paying attention. But come on, let’s just pay attention to they who paid attention to us when we did something right. How’s that? π

Wish people get to read this. With all the problems, the pains we inflict on each other, it truly is time to remember, to go back to love.

Now that is a huge compliment, Charly! π€ Thank you so much for saying that what I have written here needs to reach more people. I agree with your reasoning about it. If you want, you can reblog this post of mine. That should help. π
