If I may,
If you can take it,
What are you made of?

Not the scientific answer,
Not the philosophic dream,
But at your very core,
What are you made of?

Not what Mommy said,
Not what Daddy trained,
But what was always there,
What are you made of?

Not who circumstances molded,
Not who people speculated,
But who you know best,
What are you made of?

Agreed it’s a difficult life,
Agreed it’s an unfair game,
But tell me honestly,
What are you made of?

If you don’t know,
If you want to,
Ask me and I’ll tell you
What are you made of.

Everything that makes me is
Everything that makes you,
Although different, nevertheless same.
That’s what you are made of.

All body, mind, soul,
All emotions whole,
A reflection of me in you,
That’s what you are made of.

  3. This is so precious, what it brings to my mind is that those of us who struggle with self-love should recognise our connectedness and shared humanity with others, and see that the love we believe they deserve is also ours by right. Thank you for this!

  7. Yes, agree that all made up of the same thing, the hardware part is same for all, its only the software in us that creates the difference.. LoL And sometimes, the virus in one makes him a demon…. Thanks.

  12. I love your work Mia and because of that I’d love you to consider amending your title. For as long as you affirm you’re struggling life will be a struggle. So perhaps ponder working with e.g. creativity the struggle, or writing through struggle, embracing the struggles of writing, et al., you will know deep within if or when it’s time to give way to the struggle and glow both inwardly and outwardly.

    NB apologies in advance if this advice feels as if (a) it was never sort and (b) is unwelcome. For; that was my intention, either way enough your creative struggles 🙏

Dear Soul I get that, so simply ponder this not “till I become published” you’re already published so internally awaken each morning with the thought and sense of gratitude “wow I’m a published author thank you” and before you go to sleep say “I’m so grateful to be a published author thank you” thereafter the universe will truly know what to bring forward because you’re effectively stating what is. In the interim be well published author 🙏

        Now I will dissolve and allow the wonders of the universe to unfold.
