Thinking and over-thinking,
Caring too much
About every little detail.
Yes, it’s important.
But when you stop
Once in a long while
And just smile,
You’re just beautiful.

I hear you,
Go on and on endlessly,
Voicing your heart
As well as that big brain.
Yes, it’s needed.
But when you take a breath
Once in a long while
And just smile,
You’re just beautiful.

I feel you,
Where you’re coming from,
Where you want to be going
With every step you take.
Yes, it’s worthwhile.
But when you freeze time
Once in a long while
And just smile,
You’re just beautiful.

The world will be fine
Because of the likes of you,
The efforts you put in,
The sacrifices you make.
Yes, it’s inevitable.
But for the likes of me
Who love you dearly,
Every once in a while, smile,
So our world turns beautiful.
