Have a Good Cry

When you least see it coming,
Life can send a tsunami
To shake you to the core.

Go find a lonely spot,
To sit by yourself and
Have a good cry.

No pretence,
No holding it together,
Just letting youself be.

Accept the terrible,
Mourn it,
Push it out of your system.

It is way better than
Carrying it in forever.
So go, have a good cry.

  1. Ohh this touched me deeply 💙 … sometimes the strongest healing really begins with a simple cry in solitude. We keep pretending to “hold it together” but tears are the body’s way of unclogging the soul. Your words flow like a quiet whisper reminding us it’s okay to let go.

I feel many of us need this permission today — to drop the mask, sit with ourselves, and breathe lighter afterwards.

Do you also feel that after a real cry, there’s a strange calmness, almost like the storm has rinsed you clean?

    1. Thank you so much for your appreciation, Piyush! 😊
I’m glad you could connect it with my novel. I believe that anything which brings catharsis is good for the soul. Really nice to know you were able to connect with the story, because that is where the win for the author lies. 😊😊
