What You Don’t Say

You don’t say it.
You just stay
Right behind me,
Steady as a rock,
Luminous as a lighthouse,
Every time you feel
I’m going to fall.

You don’t say it.
You just stay
Ready to catch me,
Eyes of concern,
Mind of alertness,
Every time I plunge
Into the unknown.

But when I don’t fall,
When I don’t fail,
You are still there
To see me soar.
Then you walk off.
You don’t say it.
But I hear it.

  1. Thanks from Harish —
    Your poem is truly magnificent,
a masterpiece where silence speaks louder than words.
The imagery of a rock and a lighthouse
captures the essence of trust and support.
The quiet presence behind every fall and every soar
is portrayed with brilliance and grace.
