For the first time
In my arms,
Infinite emotions surged
In every inch of me.

For nine years,
I had carried you
Within me,
With patience,
Without a whisper outside.

To feel you
In solid form confirmed
You were no longer a dream,
You were a reality,
You were truly a part of me.

My dear first book,
Through this year and others,
I am sure,
I will never forget how
I felt first holding you.
