When you hear Christmas,
Who do you think of?
Christ or Santa?
Redeemer or gift-giver?

Or is it a human being?
Someone you knew
And lost touch with?
Someone you still know?

Other than other-worldly,
Someone from this world
Who may have made you smile,
Who may have struck a chord?

Christ would be far.
Santa would be busy.
But if it’s a mere person,
Maybe you still have a chance.

So why not take it?
And maybe see,
If even this Christmas
Can be as merry?

Who knows if what they call
The miracle of Christmas
Which you await
Is awaiting you?

  2. I think that significant dates have become, over time, events that focus on the financial aspect. Today, with so much insanity caused by human beings such as wars, environmental disasters, racism and other barbarities, I can find people who look inside themselves, at the human spirit and I can look at a moment of peace and harmony. what I wish for you.✨✨🙏🏻⭐️🙏🏻✨✨

  3. I think of holidays and vacations.. But being a part of Chennai I also think of the uninvited floods every year around this time and how people still stick together and life moves on.
