I’ll Be There

I am not white.
I am not black.
I am certainly grey.
But when you need me,
I’ll be there.

I can be selfish.
I can be unreasonable.
I can be stubborn.
But when you start falling,
I’ll be there.

I may drive you crazy.
I may baffle you endlessly.
I may make you want to give up.
But when you search for me,
I’ll be there.

You don’t have to ask me.
You don’t have to doubt it.
You don’t have to think about it.
But even when you don’t like me,
I’ll be there.

Because that’s who I am.
Because that’s how I live.
Because that’s how I love.
But rest assured,
I’ll be there.

  5. Beautiful message. the importance of friendship and support or a willingness to help, highlighting the idea that, although it may not always be evident or categorizable, its presence is constant and safe in times of need.
