Do you remember
How in “Pride and Prejudice”
When Elizabeth and Darcy
Are dancing together,
Everyone around
Disappears for them?
That is what you deserve
In love,
In career,
In life.
You deserve consuming.
You deserve to consume.
Anybody who tells you
To settle for less
Must simply not be heeded.
Because I assure you
It exists.
You just have to believe it.
I cannot wait to read your book. It is arriving tomorrow! xoxo

Nice poem… although it seemed to me both carried baggage into the dance; pride, prejudice. It was as their pride melted that their love flourished, like when Darcy was passive and he noticed the thoughtful ministrations of Lizzy protecting his sister at the Piano Forte. He was silent and really noticed her as a person.

Thank you so much for appreciating, Chuckster! 😊
You are right. They did have baggage during the dance. Yet they had crackling chemistry. Love completely won them over slowly and steadily, in the instances later that you have stated.
